Product Description

SILISIL RTV PRO-Cast 33RD is a room-temperature vulcanizing 2-component silicone of the PRO-Cast — Industrial Casting Series series (Addition (Platinum), RTV-2) — Red premium casting silicone Shore A 33 — higher tear strength for highly stressed industrial molds.

The mixture is prepared in a 1:1 by weight ratio. Pot life at 23 °C approx. 20 minutes, demolding after approx. 210 minutes, complete curing after 24 hours. Temperature resistant –40 °C to +200 °C.

Prepare the original
Clean, dry, and dust-free surface at 23 °C — cooler environments significantly extend pot life and curing time.

Mix components
Stir base and catalyst thoroughly before use. Weigh out 1:1 by weight. Mix in thoroughly, including container walls and bottom.

Vacuum degassing
Briefly degas under vacuum for a pore-free mold — entrapped air is removed and a smooth mold surface is guaranteed.
4
Processing
Pour in a thin stream from approx. 30 cm height — minimal air entrapment.
5
Vulcanize and demold
At 23 °C, demolding is possible after approx. 210 minutes, with full curing after 24 hours.

Important Notes

Avoid crosslinking inhibitors
Addition system (platinum) — sensitive to sulfur, amine, tin, and phosphorus compounds. Avoid contact with latex gloves and PVC plasticizers.
Storage and Shelf Life
Shelf life of at least 12 months in unopened original container when stored in a dry, cool place (10–25 °C). Consult the SDS before opening.

Compatibility
