SILISIL silicone paste for cars is a silicone paste from the SILISIL product range — a highly viscous, stable silicone preparation for lubrication, sealing and formulation tasks in industry, electronics and medical technology.

Processing and mixing

  • The exact mixing ratio, pot life and demolding time can be found in the technical data sheet (TDS) on this product page
  • Before processing, stir both components separately and then mix thoroughly in the specified ratio
  • Degassing under vacuum (30–50 mbar) eliminates air inclusions and improves surface quality
  • Ideally, processing should take place at 23 °C and 40–60% relative humidity
  • Contamination by sulfur, amines, tin catalysts or PVC must be avoided in platinum-crosslinked systems — they prevent curing

Storage and shelf life

  • Store in unopened original packaging at 5–25 °C, in a dry place and protected from sunlight
  • Shelf life from date of manufacture as stated in the TDS — typically 12–24 months
  • Carefully reseal after opening
