SILISIL ZA 26 Spray B WT 10 THIXO is the catalyst component of the platinum-curing thixotropic 2K spray silicone in a 25 kg industrial container — designed for professional continuous use. The curing reaction only starts after mixing with component A (SILISIL ZA 26 Spray A) in the specified ratio. Component B alone will not cure.

Processing

Prepare the original and spray area
Clean, dry, and dust-free original. Spray booth with good ventilation — processing temperature 20–25 °C, relative humidity 40–60 %.

Homogenize and insert components
Stir both components (A + B) separately before use and insert into the 2K spray system — exact mixing ratio see TDS.

Test spray gun
Test the spray pattern on a sample cardboard — adjust for an even, thin layer thickness without drips or splatters.

Spray on the first thin layer
Spray evenly from a distance of 25–35 cm — apply the first layer thinly and fully covering as a detail layer.

Build up multiple layers
Allow to briefly dry between layers (typically 3–5 layers for complete mold build-up). The thixotropic version can also be applied vertically without issues.

Vulcanize and demold
Pot life and demolding time per TDS — typical pot life 6–15 min, demolding after 30–60 min, curing phase 24 h for maximum strength.

SILISIL ZA 26 SPRAY B WT 10 THIXO 25 kg: B-component (platinum catalyst) of the thixotropic 2K spray silicone in a 25 kg industrial container — compatible with ZA 26 Spray A, shear-thinning during spraying, stable on vertical surfaces. Main applications: industrial production, vertical wall molding, multi-layer spray build-ups.

Platinum-curing spray silicones are sensitive to crosslinking inhibitors — sulfur, amine, tin, and phosphorus compounds can locally stop vulcanization. Avoid latex gloves, sulfur-containing modeling compounds, some adhesive tapes, and PVC plasticizers near the mold. Processing is ideally carried out at 23 °C, 40–60 % rH. Stir both components separately before placing them into the 2K spray system. Several thin spray layers are better than one thick layer.

No. Silicone sprays leave a water-repellent silicone film that prevents the adhesion of paints, adhesives, and coatings. Do not apply to surfaces that will later be painted or overlaid, or clean thoroughly beforehand with SILISIL Silicone Remover.

Store aerosol can below +50 °C, protect from direct sunlight, keep away from ignition sources. Pressure container — do not forcibly open or incinerate, even after use. In unopened original packaging, shelf life according to SDS — observe the printed expiry date.

Zhermack original brand available as variant to VI 22 (3910) and ZA 26 (3897).
