- Teroson® MS 939 is a one-component, moisture-curing adhesive and sealant based on silane-modified polymers (SMP), specifically developed for high-strength and permanently elastic bonding and sealing applications. The product cures to an elastic, stress-relieving material and is free of solvents, isocyanates, silicone, and PVC. Its thixotropic consistency provides excellent sag resistance, making Teroson® MS 939 ideal for vertical and overhead applications.
- Its excellent UV and weather resistance makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Thanks to its good paint compatibility and broad adhesion to metals, plastics, painted and powder-coated surfaces, Teroson® MS 939 is particularly versatile, for example in the automotive, HVAC, electrical and plastics industries.
1-component SMP adhesive
Elastic and stress-balancing
Paste-like and firm, no slipping
Skin formation time: approx. 4–10 minutes
Curing rate: approx. 3 mm / 24 hours.
Shore A hardness: approx. 55
Tensile strength: approx. 3.0 MPa
Elongation at break: approx. 250%
Operating temperature: -40 °C to +100 °C (up to 120 °C for short periods)
UV and weather resistant, paintable
Solvent-, silicone- and isocyanate-free
Storage stability: 12 months (at 10–25 °C)
Metals (e.g. steel, aluminum)
Plastics (e.g. ABS, GRP – after preliminary testing)
Powder-coated and painted surfaces
Sheet metal, painted body parts, Plexiglas®, polycarbonate
(*only after preliminary testing, risk of stress cracking)
Bonding of side panels and roof membranes
Seals in vehicle and caravan construction
Use in container, wagon and metal construction
Climate, ventilation, electrical and plastics industries
Elastic inner and outer seams
General apparatus and housing construction
Suitable materials:
Typical areas of application:
Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of grease
Primer or mechanical roughening may be necessary
Processing temperature: +5 °C to +40 °C
Application is carried out using a hand or compressed air gun (290–570 ml container)
Curing occurs through humidity; higher temperatures and humidity accelerate the process
- Uncured adhesive can be removed with cleaner and thinner A or FL
