The exact dosage depends on the application — typically 0.2–2% w/w. For paints and varnishes, add after pigment grinding. For RTV thixotropy additives: add to the mixed RTV base and catalyst. Test compatibility in a preliminary trial before use — excessive dosage may impair interlayer adhesion.
Store in the unopened original container in a dry, cool place — typically standard between +5 and +30 °C, exact values see TDS. Consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use. Observe the expiration date on the packaging — Elkem guarantees the sales specifications only up to the stated date.
