Bluesil Fluid 47 V 50 is a low-viscosity linear polydimethylsiloxane oil (PDMS, 50 mm²/s) for lubrication, low-temperature hydraulics, dielectric and as an RTV thinner.

Bluesil/Silbione polydimethylsiloxane oils (PDMS) — chemically inert, thermally stable, with defined viscosity for use as lubricants, separators, dielectrics, hydraulic fluids, and heat transfer fluids. Fluid 47 V 50 is tailored to specific applications — the most important properties and areas of application are listed below.

Low viscosity, wide application

Bluesil FLD 47V50 is a linear polydimethylsiloxane with a viscosity of 50 mm²/s — proven as a hydraulic fluid for low temperatures, a dielectric medium for capacitor paper impregnation and as a thinner for Bluesil RTV systems.

PDMS (polydimethylsiloxane) is a linear silicone fluid with high thermal stability, low surface tension, very good dielectric properties, and a wide temperature range. The viscosity (in mm²/s = cSt) determines the application range—low viscosities for volatile lubrication and hydraulics, high viscosities for antifoaming, damping, and conditioning.
