The key factors are the active ingredient (silicone, PTFE, graphite, multi-purpose), temperature and load, residue behavior, and compatibility with plastics, elastomers, and subsequent process steps such as painting or bonding. Silicone-containing sprays must be used in a targeted and spatially separated manner in facilities with painting processes.
