Permabond adhesion promoter primer — prepare critical substrates (polyolefins, silicone, PTFE, or metals) for bonding with Permabond adhesives. The 2K primer kit is tailored to specific applications — the most important properties and areas of application can be found below.
Permabond 2K Primer is ideal for optimizing the surface condition for demanding bonding applications — improves adhesion, indicates the wettability of the substrate (visual indicator), protects metals from corrosion, and increases the durability of the bond.

Permabond primers are used on substrates that do not adhere sufficiently with standard adhesives: POP primer for polyolefins (PP, PE), PTFE, and silicone (otherwise no CA adhesion is possible); 2-K Primer Kit as a universal primer for demanding metal, glass, or composite bonding — significantly improves adhesion, acts as corrosion protection, and indicates with the wettability indicator whether the substrate is ready for bonding.
Store in the unopened original container in a dry, cool place — Permabond adhesives typically between +5 and +25 °C, exact values see TDS. Consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use. Observe the expiry date on the packaging. Store cyanoacrylates cool (ideally refrigerated) for maximum shelf life.
