Frequently asked questions about L-GP 305
Practical application and design questions — answered by SILITECH.
Bonderite L-GP 305 (190 kg): Bonderite dry film lubricant of the L-GP-305 series — 190 kg industrial container, detailed specifications and application recommendations available from SILITECH. Main applications: Specialized industrial applications, Bonderite industry standard, OEM applications.
After evaporation of the carrier (water, solvent, or MIBK), dry film lubricants form a firmly adhering lubricating film of solid lubricant (graphite, MoS₂, PTFE, or boron nitride). Advantages over liquid lubricants: no migration, lifelong lubrication in many applications, high-temperature suitability, substrate versatility (wood, metal, plastic, glass), electrically conductive possible (graphite) or highly insulating (boron nitride).
Store in the unopened original container in a dry, cool place — typically between +5 and +40 °C, exact values see TDS. Protect water-based products from frost. Consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use. Observe the expiry date on the packaging. Store aerosol sprays at low temperature and in a well-ventilated area.
In the comparison table above, you will find related Bonderite products with different properties — different carrier, different solid lubricant, different temperature range, or different application specialization. If you are unsure about the optimal choice, we will be happy to advise you — contact SILITECH with your specific application (substrate, temperature, load, processing workflow).
