SILISIL ZA 22 SPRAY A & B WT 2
Platinum-curing 2K addition silicone for pneumatic spray application.
Platinum-curing 2K addition silicone for pneumatic spray application — Shore A 22, thin layers in 3–5 coats, ideal for complex geometries, undercuts and large-area impressions
SILISIL VI 22 SPRAY WT 2 is a platinum-curing 2K addition silicone for pneumatic spray application — Shore A 22, thin layers in 3–5 layers, ideal for complex geometries, undercuts and large-area impressions.
SILISIL series 2K spray silicones — platinum-curing addition silicones optimized for pneumatic spray application in spray mold making, vertical molding, vacuum forming tools, and multi-layer shell molds. VI 22 Spray WT 2 is tailored to specific industrial and workshop applications — the most important properties and areas of application can be found below.
SILISIL VI 22 Spray WT 2 is a platinum-curing, two-component (2K) addition silicone from the SILISIL Spray series—specifically formulated for application via pneumatic spray gun or 2K spray system. With a Shore A hardness of 22, it offers medium flexibility and fine detail resolution. The WT designation indicates a defined weight and viscosity—not too thin (otherwise droplets will form), not too viscous (otherwise a splatter effect). Multiple thin layers allow for uniform molding, even of complex geometries.

Frequently asked questions about VI 22 Spray WT 2
Practical questions regarding application and compatibility — answered by SILITECH.
SILISIL VI 22 SPRAY WT 2: Platinum-curing 2K addition silicone for pneumatic spray application — Shore A 22, thin layers in 3–5 coats, ideal for complex geometries, undercuts, and large-area molds. Main applications: spray mold making, film and SFX, restoration.
Platinum-curing spray silicones are sensitive to crosslinking inhibitors—sulfur, amine, tin, and phosphorus compounds can locally halt vulcanization. Avoid latex gloves, sulfur-containing modeling clays, some adhesive tapes, and PVC plasticizers near the mold. Ideally, process at 23°C, 40–60% RH. Stir both components separately before placing them in the 2K spray system. Several thin spray coats are better than one thick coat.
No. Silicone sprays leave a water-repellent silicone film that prevents paints, adhesives, and coatings from adhering. Do not use on surfaces that will later be painted or covered with adhesive film—or clean thoroughly beforehand with SILISIL Silicone Remover.
Store the aerosol can below +50 °C, protect from direct sunlight, and keep away from ignition sources. Do not forcibly open or incinerate pressurized containers, even after use. Shelf life in the unopened original container is according to SDS; please note the printed expiration date.
Standard 1:1 mixture with a 6-minute pot life: SILISIL RTV MF-Spray 25-6 (3582). Longer pot life for multi-layer applications: MF-Spray 25-6 Delayed (4128). Thixotropic for vertical surfaces: MF-SprayThixo 25-10 (3583). Pneumatic spray application Shore A 22: VI 22 Spray WT 2 (622). Industrial 2K thixotropic spray system: ZA 26 Spray A + B (1708/1709). Zhermack original brand available as a variant of VI 22 (3910) and ZA 26 (3897).
