Optical Clear Resins from SILIRESIN for transparent castings and coatings: Encapsulation of LEDs, jewelry and design objects, display protection , and optical components. The systems are designed for high transparency, low yellowing, and a clean gloss.

Properties

High light transmittance (over 92 percent, product-specific according to the data sheet), low yellowing, and minimal shrinkage. Various curing profiles: from slow (approx. 24 h) for bubble-free thick-layer castings to fast (approx. 4 h) for series production. Bubble-free results require the right technique: clean mixing, degassing, and adjusted pouring heights.

What matters when selecting

Layer thickness and pouring volume, exothermic reaction, pot life, UV exposure during use, and planned post-processing (grinding, polishing). For optically critical applications, we recommend a sample test under real conditions.
