MS polymers and hybrid adhesives. Elastic bonding and sealing, isocyanate- and silicone-free

MS polymer adhesives (modified silanes) combine the properties of silicone and polyurethane: high elasticity, paintability , and good UV resistance, without isocyanates or silicone. They bond and seal in a single step and adhere to many common substrates for both indoor and outdoor use.

Areas of application

Industrial assembly: elastic bonding of sheet metal, profiles, and panels. Vehicle construction: bonding of bodywork and superstructures. Construction: joint sealing, window installation, facade elements. Primer is not required on many substrates; adhesion should be tested on the original substrate.

What matters when making your selection

Stability or self-leveling properties, skin formation time, elasticity, paintability, and color. Compared to silicone, MS polymers are paintable, and compared to PU, they are isocyanate-free; which technology is suitable depends on the substrate and the load. We check this using the technical data sheets.
