Silicone oils and fluids. Viscosities from 0.65 to 300,000 cSt

Silicone oils (polydimethylsiloxanes, PDMS) combine high thermal stability with chemical inertness and a largely constant viscosity over a wide temperature range. In industry, they are well-suited for lubrication, release and demolding, damping, hydrophobing , and as process oils.

Selection based on viscosity

Ultra-low viscosity (0.65 to 5 cSt): Cleaning, carrier fluid, heat transfer. Low viscosity (10 to 100 cSt): Demolding, textile finishing, sliding coating. Medium viscosity (100 to 10,000 cSt): Damping, lubrication, cosmetic applications. High viscosity (10,000 to 300,000 cSt): Damping elements, sealing applications, base for silicone pastes.

Product range and packaging

We carry silicone oils from Elkem Bluesil and our own brand SILISIL, including paintable silicone fluids and, depending on the product, food-grade variants according to the manufacturer's documentation. Container sizes range from 1 kg to 200 kg.

Standard viscosities are generally available from our Gümligen warehouse at short notice. Describe your application to us: We will check the appropriate viscosity, data sheets, and alternatives. Samples, special containers, and custom viscosities are available upon request.
