Thread sealant. Pressure-tight pipe and threaded connections

Thread sealants seal metallic pipe and fine threads against oils, gases, water, and many chemicals; resistance to the specific medium is product-specific and documented in the technical data sheet. Our product range includes anaerobic and PTFE-containing systems from Permabond and Loctite, as a reliable alternative to PTFE tape and hemp.

Liquid sealant instead of tape and hemp

Liquid thread sealants fill the entire thread, do not twist during adjustment, and additionally secure the connection against loosening. Anaerobic systems cure in the thread in the absence of air; PTFE-containing pastes remain flexible and facilitate disassembly.

What matters when making your selection

Medium and temperature, operating pressure, thread size and material, desired disassembly ease, and time until pressurization. Approvals for gas, drinking water, or oxygen are product-specific and must be verified according to the manufacturer's documentation; we will provide the necessary documentation.
