Polyurethane adhesives. Flexible to structurally strong

PU adhesives combine elasticity with high strength and good chemical resistance. They are suitable for bonding applications that are subject to dynamic loads or need to compensate for different thermal expansions: on wood, plastic, metal, and composite materials.

1K and 2K systems

One-component polyurethane adhesives cure with atmospheric humidity and are easy to apply; curing speed and final strength depend on climate and layer thickness. Two-component systems cure independently of ambient humidity and achieve high strengths more quickly; the mixing ratio must be precisely adhered to.

Typical applications

Vehicle and body construction, sandwich and panel bonding, wood processing, bonding of plastic to metal, and connections with requirements for tough elasticity and peel strength.

What matters when making your selection

Substrates and pretreatment, required elasticity and strength, open time and curing time, temperature and media stress, as well as moisture requirements for 1K systems. We recommend testing on the original substrate in every case.
