Anaerobic adhesives. Threadlocker, flange gasket, shaft-hub

Anaerobic adhesives cure in the absence of air and in contact with metal. They are the industry standard for threadlockers, flange gaskets, shaft-hub connections , and pipe threads. We stock anaerobic adhesives from Permabond and Loctite.

Screw locking devices according to strength class

Low-strength (removable by hand): for adjusting screws and frequent disassembly. Medium-strength (removable with tools): for standard connections, typically M6 to M20. High-strength (disassembly usually only possible with heat): for safety-critical connections in mechanical engineering and automotive technology.

Flange gaskets (FIPG)

Anaerobic flange sealants (formed-in-place gaskets) replace prefabricated gaskets. They fill irregularities up to 0.5 mm (product-specific) and, according to the manufacturer's documentation, are resistant to oils, coolants, and hydraulic fluids.

Shaft-hub connections

High-strength anaerobic adhesives secure bearings, bushings, and sleeves. Depending on the product, gap filling up to 0.25 mm and shear strengths up to 25 N/mm² are achieved according to the data sheet.

What matters when making your selection

Strength class and disassembly, thread size and gap dimension, operating temperature and media contact as well as the substrate: passive surfaces such as stainless steel or coated parts may require an activator.
